River Associates invests alongside management in all of its companies. We often partner with existing management, but will also seek to coinvest with executives who assume a leadership role with a prospective platform company.

In the latter case, River Associates seeks to partner with seasoned operating executives who have demonstrated the ability to successfully manage a small, medium or large company or a substantial division or subsidiary of a large company. In a partnership with River Associates, the operating executive can expect the following: the benefits of equity ownership, operating control over daily activities, a seat on the company's board of directors and access to other benefits of partnering with River Associates such as numerous lending and investment banking relationships, a high level of visibility to strategic add-on acquisitions, and operating and financial experience in a wide variety of industries.
